About the Role

Centrix Control Solutions has an immediate opening for an experienced Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) Service Specialist, based at our Edmonton facility.  Centrix has been the authorized Assembler and Distributor of Consolidated PRV valve products in Western Canada for the last 64 years. As such, we are privileged to operate a Consolidated Green Tag Center (GTC).  The GTC network is regarded as the premier PRV assembly, testing & repair organization in the world.  Openings to join and grow with the Centrix service team do not come by very often, so this is an excellent career opportunity for the right individual.

 

  • Assembly & testing of new Consolidated PRVs to manufacturer and code requirements
  • Shop service & repair of all manufacturer PRVs through our VR program.
  • Field service of PRVs throughout Western Canada
  • General shop maintenance and up-keep including storage, equipment clean-up and shipping/receiving as needed
  • Inspecting, measuring, servicing and testing equipment

Here's a Snapshot of How You'll Contribute to Our Team

  • Courteous and professional communication with customers, vendors and team members
  • Strict adherence to Centrix Control Solutions Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Strong problem-solving ability with minimal supervision
  • Valid Class 5 drivers license minimum
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as alone with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Must be able to frequently stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms and stoop
  • Ability and willingness to travel for Western Canada field service
  • Ability to travel internationally for manufacturer certified training
  • Able to adhere to and pass customer drug & alcohol testing

Who We’re Looking For

  • PRV service experience is a must
  • Technical certificate of any level will be an advantage
  • Machining experience an asset
  • Very strong mechanical aptitude and experience
  • Previous use of calibrated measurement devices
  • Willing to advance and grow
